Ölduselsskóli school orientation — fall 2026

Ölduselsskóli hosts school orientation on Monday, Aug. 24, in the assembly hall at the following times.
    Grades 2-4: 8:30 a.m.
    Grades 5-7: 9 a.m.
    Grades 8–10, 9:30 a.m.
Regular classes begin immediately after each grade's orientation concludes.
Students should pack a school bag, a water bottle, and a morning snack. Swimming lessons start Tuesday, Aug. 25, following the regular schedule.
We automatically re-enroll students who had a meal subscription last year. New students must sign up for a meal subscription at matur.vala.is; you can find a direct link on the school website. As a reminder, meal subscriptions are completely free for all Ölduselsskóli students.
