Energetic students in spring cleaning mode

Energetic second-grade students took advantage of the sunny, good weather this week and picked up trash around their playground. They also learned what was safe to pick up and what items, such as broken glass, they should ask their teacher to handle if found.

They did an excellent job working together in small groups. After the cleanup, they enjoyed playing with balls and drawing with chalk.

The anticipation for spring is strong and especially getting to just wear sweaters outside more often.
