Ölduselsskóli hosted its 2026 spring celebration on Tuesday, May 19th This annual event is a collaborative effort organized by the school, its staff, and the parent association. A fantastic crowd gathered to enjoy the festivities in the wonderful weather.

Ölduselsskóli hosted its 2026 spring celebration on Tuesday, May 19th This annual event is a collaborative effort organized by the school, its staff, and the parent association. A fantastic crowd gathered to enjoy the festivities in the wonderful weather.
The opening ceremony featured the dedication of Aldan, the school's newest teaching facility. Assistant principal Eygló Guðmundsdóttir welcomed the guests, after which one student from each grade at the youngest level joined together to cut the ribbon. The second grade then performed an original song inspired by the theme of "good deeds." Artificial intelligence helped compose the music for the performance. The opening ceremony, the building dedication, and the second grade's performance combined to set a truly festive tone for the day. An impressive number of people attended, with children and adults alike enjoying the shared time and abundant activities in the beautiful weather.
